Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised Aberdeen Asset Management, a leading UK investment management group, on the acquisition of part of the traditional asset management activities of Credit Suisse in Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific region.

In France, Aberdeen Asset Management has acquired Credit Suisse Asset Management France and Credit Suisse Asset Management Gestion.
