12 October 2010 - Boris Arkhipov and Alexander Dolgov join Gide Loyrette Nouel as Partners in Moscow:
The Moscow office of Gide Loyrette Nouel is pleased to announce that it is strengthening its Russian practice with the key strategic hires of two partners.
Boris Arkhipov will join the firm as head of Gide’s Corporate and M&A practice in Russia. Boris has vast expertise in corporate law and has advised on cross-border transactions across the natural resources, mining, telecommunications, media, retail and IT sectors both in Russia and internationally. Most recently, Boris has represented the Russian shareholders of TNK-BP Limited in connection with the recent shareholders’ clash with British Petroleum, the new shareholders’ agreement and global corporate governance restructuring of the group. He holds a law degree and doctorate in law from Moscow State University and the LL.M. from the University of Warwick. Boris joined the firm on 4 October from Hogan Lovells.
Alexander Dolgov will join the firm as head of Gide’s PPP and Capital Markets practices in Russia. Alexander brings immense expertise to the firm having recently advised state-owned concession company TransProject on the Moscow-St.Petersburg road PPP and RusHydro on its debut Eurobond issue. He will further develop the first tier recognized PPP practice of Gide Russia adding significant value given his wide experience in financial markets. In addition, he has pioneered securitisation transactions and advised on a number of true sale and synthetic securitisations in Russia. Alexander holds a law degree from the Moscow State Institute and the LL.M. from University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College. Alexander joined the firm on 4 October from Allen and Overy.
