12 January 2012 - Gide Loyrette Nouel London announces new partner promotion:

International law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel ('Gide') is pleased to announce that Dimitrios Logizidis has been promoted to partner in the London office, effective from 1 January 2012.

He joins Adam Rooney and David Klass who were both made up to partner during the last promotion round, which demonstrates the importance that Gide places on recognising and rewarding talent within the Firm.

Dimitrios joined Gide London in 2007 and specialises in structured finance where he advises financial institutions, private equity funds and corporates on a range of asset-backed finance, securitisation and covered bond transactions. He has been involved in a number of multi-jurisdictional arrangements, including emerging countries, where securitisation was implemented for the first time.

Commenting on the appointment, London partner in charge Colin Mercer said, "The promotion of Dimitrios is well deserved and is testament to his hard work during his time at Gide. He will bolster our Asset-backed Finance/Securitisation team which, from Paris, London and New York, operates in a market that is set to develop strongly following the introduction of Basel III and Solvency II regulations. I am delighted to welcome him to the partnership."
