Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca has advised the Ynna group - a leading investor in priority sectors of the Moroccan economy such as construction and public works, real estate, construction equipment, tourism, and distribution (18,000 employees worldwide) - on the purchase of a 20% equity interest by International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), in the Ynna Asment company which is proposing to develop a cement plant (estimated at over EUR 200 million) to supply the North African market.
The team at Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca advised the principal shareholder, Ynna Holding, as well as Ynna Asment, on the transaction.
The purchase of an equity interest by International Finance Corporation will allow Ynna Asment to develop a cutting-edge cement plant in Morocco which will meet the strictest international standards in the industry.
