6 July 2007 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca advised the group Nord Est (North East group) on the transfer of the Compagnie Minière de Touissit (Touissit Mining Company) for € 41 million:
The Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Casablanca office advised the industrial group Nord Est (North East Group) on the transfer of its Moroccan subsidiary, the Compagnie Minière de Touissit (the Touissit Mining Company) (CMT), to a consortium headed by the Truffle Capital investment fund.
CMT, specialising in the extraction, processing and export of lead, zinc and silver ore, realised a reported turnover of € 21.4 million in 2006.
The acquisition price before adjustment is equal to € 41 million.
This transaction is subject to approval from the Moroccan Mining Ministry.
