26 November 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca advises the MSF investment fund on the development of one of the largest shopping centres in Morocco, Carré Eden in Marrakech:
The Maghreb Siyaha Fund (MSF), managed by Actif Invest, the leading tourism and property investment fund in Morocco, is working with Eden de Marrakech, the investment and promotional vehicule of Simon-Xavier Guerrand-Hermès, to develop one of the country's most high-profile shopping centres in the Guéliz district of Marrakech.
This shopping centre forms part of the Carré Eden complex, a programme covering over 100,000 m² which also features a five-star hotel, luxury apartments, and four underground levels.
Gide Loyrette Nouel is advising Actif Invest on structuring and negotiating leases in future state of completion to be executed by the different retail outlets in the shopping centre. The team is led by Philippe de Richoufftz, with the assistance of Romain Berthon.
