5 April 2007 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca advised Capital Invest, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group, BMCE, on the creation of its second investment fund (EUR 35 million):

The Gide Loyrette Nouel Casablanca office advised Capital Invest, a subsidiary of the Moroccan bank, BMCE (Banque Marocaine du Commerce Extérieur), on the structuring and creation of the group's second private equity investment fund, which is its first "onshore" fund. 
 
This new EUR 35 million fund, known as "Capital North Africa Venture" (CNAV), is the first fund in Morocco to include LBO transactions in its investment strategy. It will focus on large and medium-sized companies, mainly in the Moroccan market.  

CNAV will involve European institutional investors (the European Investment Bank, Averroès Finance, the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Switzerland)) and Moroccan institutional investors.
