25 November 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Bucharest assists IFC in the largest transaction in the medical services sector in Romania:

GLN Bucharest has advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC - the World Bank’s investment division), on the transfer of 7.25% of the shares it held in the medical care services company MedLife to SGAM Eastern Europe (a private investment fund of Société Générale Asset Management, a subsidiary of Groupe Société Générale). 
 
In total the transaction concerned 36.25% of MedLife shares (of which 29% were sold by the Marcu family, founder and majority shareholder) and represents the most significant transaction in the medical care services sector, MedLife being the largest medical care services operator in Romania.
