Gide Loyrette Nouel Brussels has advised Butler Capital Partners, a leading French private equity investor in the State aid procedure concerning SNCM, the French ferry operator. 
 
Following an in-depth investigation, the European Commission concluded that the measures adopted by France, for an amount of € 205 million, as part of the partial privatisation of the company, do not constitute State aid.
