In 2007, Gide Loyrette Nouel is celebrating the 40^th anniversary of the opening of its office in Brussels, the capital of Europe.

On this occasion, the Frm is hosting a dinner debate on 22 November in Brussels on the topic "Europe, Competitiveness & Globalisation: A Time for Choices". Guest speakers will include Joaquín Almunia, European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and Jean-Pierre Jouyet, French Secretary of State for European Affairs.

Gide Loyrette Nouel was a pioneer among international law firms when, in 1967, it established its office in Brussels, the heart of the European affairs.
