Gide's affiliated firm, Özdirekcan Dündar Şenocak Ak (ODSA), has advised Saint Gobain Weber Yapı Kimyasalları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., on the acquisition of 50% of shares of Dalsan Alçı Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. ("Dalsan Alçı") from Dalsan Yatırım ve Enerji A.Ş. and on the sale of 50% of its shares in Saint-Gobain Rigips Alçı Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi ("Saint-Gobain Rigips") to Dalsan Yatırım ve Enerji A.Ş.
Both Saint-Gobain Rigips and Dalsan Alçı are active in the business of production and sale of building materials. Following this transaction, Saint-Gobain Rigips and Dalsan Alçı will be unifying their operations, in particular regarding the plaster and gypsum business line, under a single roof. With this partnership, the parties expect to develop the building materials business in Türkiye and in overseas.
